“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
For the Pilot Programme, there are three ways we help others.

The Listen Line
The anonymous emotional support phone line
Who it’s for: Disabled, chronically ill & neurodivergent individuals
Opening hours: Mondays & Thursdays: 19:00 pm till 22:00 pm.
What happens during a call: We conduct a psychometric test at the beginning and end of the call to measure outcomes for our service
Confidentiality: We inform the service user of the limits to confidentiality, safeguarding protocol and proceed with our verbal contract which the service user must agree to in order to proceed with the call. The person-centred emotional care takes place in between.
Safeguarding: the safeguarding lead is on call in case of any risk.
The Listening Space
A web chat service running at the same time as the phone line.
Accessibility: We know that telephone conversations are not accessible for everyone. The support remains confidential, accessible, and centred around your needs.
Who can use it: this service is dedicated to those who are deaf, hearing impaired, non-verbal, or struggle with social anxiety.
How conversations work: We begin with a short contract which the service user must agree to if they wish to proceed, a short psychometric test at the beginning and end of our conversation to measure outcomes and of course the person-centred emotional care in between.
The Disabled Voices Village
Disability can be isolating, particularly for those who are housebound, bedbound, or excluded by inaccessible environments.
Support Groups: we will cover grief, isolation, emotional regulation, how to handle setbacks, pacing, boundaries and learning to say no.
Peer Spaces: these will be online via Facebook, Threads, and TikTok.
Online Events:
Wellbeing Wednesdays: A weekly online wellbeing session exploring topics such as emotional wellbeing, boundaries, self-compassion, grief, and resilience.
Sunday Slow Down: A gentle end-of-week gathering with guided relaxation, reflection, journaling, or quiet conversation. Perfect for people experiencing fatigue or energy-limiting conditions.
Games & Giggles Night
Accessible online games, quizzes, and light-hearted activities to encourage laughter and connection. Examples:
- Bingo
- Trivia
- Jackbox games
- Drawing games
